Dubbed "the ultimate monitoring tool," the headphones have a closed-back design which guarantees unparalleled isolation, and the huge 53 mm speaker drivers deliver amazing sound quality at high volume, including booming bass with superior high-end frequency response (5-33,000 Hz). These headphones address and correct the perceived earcup flaw in the ubiquitous Sony headphone design by allowing for much greater ear-cup rotation and flexibility with heavier, more durable plastics. The snugness with which they fit one's head is also a blessing, especially for those with long hair that tends to make 'phones slip and slide.
